Fourth of July Celebration
The Urbanna 4th of July traditionally offers many fun and easy activities for members and their guests of all ages, throughout the day, 1:00 - 5:00: "Dive for A Drink' (8 and youngers), "Free Throw Contest", "Raft Relay", "Patriotic Table Decorating", "Ping Pong Tournament", "Patriotic Hat Contest and Parade", and 'Scavenger Hunt" to name a few.
Your Event Planner has organized the times and locations for these activities, But...
Uncle Sam needs YOU! to view the schedule to see which one you or a pair of you can prepare and run.
Most of the needed materials will be at the pool. Prizes have been purchased. Please see the Activity Host sign up is in the Entry Hall or our Website.
Ping Pong Tournament sign ups will be in the Snack Room.
Please sign up for Tournament before the 4th so brackets can be drawn up.
Activities will depend on your support as Hosts.

Teen Night and Youth Night Hosts Needed
Teen Night (13 and over) - Thursdays starting 18 June from 8 - 10 pm - $3 per teen
Youth Night (12 and under) - Mondays starting 22 June from 7 - 9 pm - $1 per youth
You can sign up in entry hall way or call the pool and ask to be signed up! Hosts are needed or the events are cancelled. Please consider hosting if your children attend. Other than being at the pool that evening, you are responsible for a snack or food (reimbursed).

No practice Friday, 3 July! No swim meet 4 July!

The Urbanna Otters will be swimming at Dale City on Saturday, 11 July. Warm-ups for Urbanna are 6:30 -- 6:50am. The meet will start at 7
am.

From Manassas, take 234 South
Turn left onto Minnieville Road
Turn right onto Dale Blvd, Go approximately 3 miles,
Take left onto Birchdale Avenue (across from Good Shepherd United Methodist Church

Parking in the pool lot is limited but there is plenty of street parking on Birchdale Avenue and in the Church lot directly across Dale Blvd. from the pool. Please observe parking signs for the town home community across the street from the pool. Please respect owners’ driveways.
Team Area: Visiting teams may set up in the area inside the fence near the second entrance in the grass closest to the diving/deep end of the pool. Dale City sets up in the grass inside the fence closest to the main entrance. You are also welcome to set up in the grass area outside of the immediate pool area or on the hillside.
